Five-star Golden Tour Review!
As our name India for Beginners implies, most of our guests are first-time visitors to India — and naturally many of them want to see India’s famous Golden Triangle! Last year, we received an email from Lisa and her friends Sue, Sharyn, and Jeni. They wanted to visit the Golden Triangle including Delhi, Agra and Jaipur — along with a stop in Rishikesh and a tour of South India. We were happy to craft an itinerary for them that included lots of immersive, culturally authentic experiences, and offbeat destinations.
Recently they returned from their private tour of India. This is what Jill, Sue, Sharyn, and Jeni wrote in their five-star review of India for Beginners.
“We recently returned from a three-week, trip of a lifetime to India, arranged with India For Beginners (IFB). The IFB team (Mariellen, Neelanjana and Anjani) helped us to create a personalised itinerary and worked very patiently with us to ensure our trip was exactly how we wanted it.

Our personal drivers took great care of us, calmly navigating the extremely chaotic traffic while also adding interesting personal insights.

“A few of the highlights from the southern aspect of our trip include – Simnad, our driver, who regularly went above and beyond and whose fun outlook made our road trips so enjoyable; our stay at the Wallwood Garden in Conoor, where we felt like family, we were so well looked after by Robin and his team.
“When travelling in the Golden Triangle and Rishikesh areas, IFB created a fantastic experience – our highlights included our guide – Monica, who made sure we had the best “Agra” experience … her knowledge and photography skills were top notch.
